Starting this last Monday night, a couple friends of mine and I started running together. Since I am not a runner and have always despised running we are doing the "couch potato to 5K" training schedule. Which, believe it or not is really enjoyable. The first week we do a warm up walk for 5 minutes and then alternate between running for 60 seconds and walking for 90 seconds. We do this for about 30 minutes and cover 2.5 miles. I really want to get to the point were I love running and hopefully training like this will help me. I am grateful that I have such wonderful motivators as my running buddies. Thank you Amy and Crys!

I am only planning on running a 5K sometime in August, but one day there may be more running. I hate thinking about that right now!
