I think I'm in love...

with my new camera lens! Yesterday I bought a new Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm lens...a zoom lens.

And these are the reasons why...

I can take pictures of my cute little nephew from 8 feet away and still get this close. If I were this close with my normal lens he would stare at the camera the whole time. There are many other reasons that I love my new camera lens, but this trumps any of them.

Fodder's Day.

We actually celebrated Father's Day for 3 Fathers at my house today. My dad, My grandpa, and my bro-in-law.

I love this pic of my dad. This was his response when we got mad at him for not smiling during our family pictures. Gotta love him!

My grandpa Mack. He is 88 years old. He is one amazing man.

This year was Will's first Fodder's Day! Congrats Will.

Future Pictures.

Since I have an older sister (Brooklyn) who lives in California...she's visiting us this week...we decided that we are going to take family pictures while she is in. Today my sis and I drove to a spot my mom suggested we take pictures. Brooklyn asked if I thought our family was a 'rustic' family...since the pictures would be taken in the country near an old dilapidated cabin. These pictures are the future sight of my family pictures....too 'rustic?
